LeMay Grays Harbor is proud to provide collections, transfer and recycling services to residential and commercial customers in the Grays Harbor County area. We provide safe, reliable, environmentally conscience residential, commercial trash and recycling collection services. Locally operated we value the people, environment and relationships we share in the community.
We service customers in Grays Harbor County (excluding refuse service in City of Hoquiam). Type of service provided does vary within areas. Please call 1-800-345-1529 with any questions on services offered in your area.

New Years Day
Our office will be closed. When New Year’s Day falls on the weekend, there will not be any delay in service. However, if the holiday falls on a week day, your scheduled service will be delayed one day for those whose service day falls on the holiday or after during that holiday week.
President's Day
Our office will be open. Our trucks will be on their normal routes. Please have your containers out for service by 6:00 AM.
Memorial Day
Our office will be closed. Our trucks will be on their normal routes. Please have your containers out for service by 6:00 AM.
Independence Day
Our office will be closed. Our trucks will be on their normal routes. Please have your containers out for service by 6:00 AM.
Labor Day
Our office will be closed. Our trucks will be on their normal routes. Please have your containers out for service by 6:00 AM.
Columbus Day
Our office will be open and our trucks will be on their normal routes. Please have your containers out for service by 6:00 AM.
Veteran’s Day
Our office will be open. Our trucks will be on their normal routes. Please have your containers out for service by 6:00 AM.
Thanksgiving and Day after
Our office will be closed on Thursday and Friday. Our trucks will be on their normal Thursday and Friday routes. Please have your containers out for service by 6:00 AM.
Christmas Day
Our office will be closed. When Christmas Day falls on the weekend, there will not be any delay in service. However, if the holiday falls on a week day, your scheduled service will be delayed one day for those whose service day falls on the holiday or after during that holiday week.

Commodity Adjustment Change FAQ

Did you notice a change in your statement? Your Refuse and Recycling charge has not changed. What has changed is the value of the recyclable material.
Why does this change? Every year in July, the commodity value is adjusted to reflect the previous 12 months actual proceeds. The annual value fluctuates with the world economy and values change from year to year.
What is the Commodity Adjustment? Commodity adjustment is created through the sales of the recyclable material collected in your service area. The revenue generated is returned to Grays Harbor County Customers as an off set to the cost of collection.
How is the adjustment determined? Adjustments are calculated annually by taking the total commodity value received from customers in the previous 12-month period and dividing by the number of recycling customers. This produces an average recycling value per customer. Please look at the “Recyclables Value” on your statement. This adjustment rewards customer for their recycling efforts and reduces your overall bill relative to actual market value.
All charges on your statement have been approved by the Washington State Utility and Transportation Commission
Winter Storm Information

Pick up of Material that has been missed due to inclement weather or road conditions will be collected on the next scheduled pick up day at no additional charge. You may place out the equivalent of one weeks service in 32 gallon bags next to your refuse container.
Inclement Weather

We are moving into the time of year when your service may be interrupted due to inclement weather or hazardous road conditions. Our number one value is the safety of our employees and the community.
If your service is impacted because we cannot safely travel the roads due to ice or snow, we will make up the service on your next scheduled service day at no additional charge.
For example, if you have weekly trash service, your service will be made up the following week by taking extras at no charge. 65gl = 2 - 32 gallon trash bags 95gl = 3 – 32 gallon trash bags.
If your recycling is missed, which is serviced every two weeks, we will make up the service the following recycling day by taking extras at no charge in a recyclable box.
